Last T-Ball Game!

Today was the last day of the t-ball season! Cam's team was made up of 12 six-year-old boys (and 2 four-year-olds) so they were very good and fun to watch. His coach, Hayley, helped the team have a good time, be positive, and learn a lot. Their final game was against a team of all four-year-old GIRLS, and yes, they won. Here are a few pictures of the last game. He also got a medal today...not so sure what Cam's face is doing here...

Relay For Life

We were honored to walk with my mom last night at the Blackfoot Relay for Life. She is a cancer survivor of 5 years and after she walked the "Survivor's Lap" and released her purple balloon
we all joined with her on the 2nd lap, the "Caregiver's Lap."

She has always wanted to walk with her grandchildren by her side so we were happy to fulfill that little dream. Callie came from Utah and Ryan and No'el were there too. We missed Emily and Jeff who are vacationing in Virginia.
This is a picture of a luminary in her honor. We are grateful each day that our mom/granny survived cancer.

Trophies from Alaska

Here are a couple of pictures of the fish my dad and Ryan caught in Alaska. My dad ended up with a 37 pound KING SALMON! Yum. I can't wait until we're invited to a fish fry at their house.

Welcome Home Grandpa & Ryan!

Grandpa and Uncle Ryan went on a fishing trip to Alaska and were gone for a week. They flew into Idaho Falls Airport this morning at 11:00...or at least that's what time they were supposed to arrive. But when we pulled into the parking lot at 10:45, Granny called and said that their plane had already arrived and they were walking through the gate right then! We hurried and parked and ran in and met them in the terminal and walked with them until their bags came off the carousel (and boy, did they smell like fish!!!) Aunt No'el had made cute signs for everyone to hold so we took this picture of the fishermen and grandkids...

Tautphaus Park Zoo

We went to the Tautphaus Park Zoo on Friday with Adrienne and Caden. I was worried that the boys would be bored since we went to Hogle Zoo recently but, on the contrary, they were so excited because they recognized some of the animals! The best part about the Tautphaus Zoo vs. the Hogle Zoo was that the kids got to brush some goats. (Not my favorite part but the boys LOVED it.) It was a nice day with a little breeze so it was very enjoyable. On the way home we got our first Shaved Ice of the summer. (Owen was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as he got in the car.) Cameron and Gavin had SUPERMAN Shaved Ice and didn't know if there was anything better on this earth.

T-Ball

T-Ball season is in full swing (pardon the pun.) We have games every Tuesday and Thursday and some Saturdays until the end of June. It sure keeps us busy. Cameron is getting better and better. His goal for the year was to learn how to make the ball "fly" when he hit it. We borrowed his coach's "T" and bat and let him practice. I was very proud of him on Saturday when he hit the ball past the base-line and it "flew" all the way! I look at him often and marvel at how grown up he is getting (and so tall, too.)

Gavin and Owen like to go to the games if Madi and Tanner are there. They take them to the playground. When they aren't there, Gavin and Owen are forced to sit by mom until the game is over. They get bored quickly.

Vacation Pics

We went on a family vacation to Salt Lake this weekend. We did so many fun things and I took SO many pictures that I decided the easiest way to share them all would be through a slide show. The pictures aren't exactly in order so here is a list of things we did...

1- Hotel from Priceline.com...fabulous deal, great room, but no continental breakfast :(

2- The Living Planet Aquarium

3- Thanksgiving Point- Museum of Ancient Life

4- Lunch at The Lion House Pantry

5- Hogle Zoo (we saw a white alligator, "The Ghost of the Bayou")

6- Imax 3-D Movie: Deep Sea

7- Star Show: Rock on Demand

8- Old Spaghetti Factory

Aunt Callie joined us for the majority of our fun. Aunt Emily and Uncle Jeff met us at Hogle Zoo. We visited Uncle Chopper at his house and then he and his girlfriend, Nikki, met us for the 3-D Movie and the Star Show.

We had such a fabulous time. If anyone is going to vacation in SLC, go to this site and buy the Salt Lake Connect Pass. It was only $20/adult but all the fun things we did were included! Quite a deal.

Silly Mistake

Obviously I changed my blog today but I accidently didn't transfer all of my Family & Friend Blog shortcuts. If I used to have yours posted but don't have it there anymore...please leave me a comment so I can get to your blog and re-post it. Thanks.
