Owen turned 5 on October 20th! A few days before his birthday, he came upstairs and handed me a stack of envelopes he'd found in my scrapbooking stuff. He said, "Here mom, you can use these for my party." Oops, this mom wasn't planning to have a party. But how could I say no? So we threw together a really low-key party to celebrate his birthday. He invited 4 friends from the neighborhood: Holden, Bryson, Ally, and Gigi. We watched "Spookly the Square Pumpkin" movie, decorated square sugar cookies, played "Pin the Wart on the Witch" and fished over the bannister for a few prizes. Cam's friend, Jake, came to help out. Emily & Miley came too. Madi & Miley were both sporting real pigtails so we had to take a pic! Owen got some nice gifts and had a good time.
