On our way home from the temple, we experienced "freezing drizzle." The drizzle was freezing as it hit the roads. The traffic was slowed down to 20 mph (at the fastest) and we saw at least 8 accidents and 4 more slide-offs. The roads were terrible and we were so thankful that we had new snow tires and that Spence is a great driver. We were so glad to make it home safely.

We were a few cars behind the Styer's so Natalie kept us up on what was happening ahead. It was quite a surprise to see the Channel 8 car off the road and the Channel 6 car crashed! It really was treacherous and I was grateful when everyone was home safe and sound! That's the mom and grandma in me.
AND I want to leave Hawaii and come home to THAT!?!?!
I have to drive into IF this afternoon and I don't want a repeat of last Friday night's nightmare drive home. It is soooo scary!!! So glad you made it home safe. I watched people slide off going less than 20 MPH. Not fun.
